No. 2 Downtown Escapade 05
An event which was long started since last year man.. Wow.. Phew.. Finally.. Huh.. Hv it met the objectives.. Nobody ask.. I did.. Is it gd..?? Depending on how u look at it?? Wats up next?? Anyone ask... Hmmm I shall say only smarties hv the ans.. Funny incidents great memories.. Hell Yea.. For others as well as myself.. lots to laugh abt.. Lots to cry abt n sigh too in my part..
The event has left me wif mix feelings.. After almost a yr working on it definitely its hell lots of work to do. I stil can recall how it all started.. Serious its so fresh in my mind. Frm the start where i start lookin thru the first proposed venue of having it in Orchard Road. Print maps frm street directory trying to mark out the route. The never ending clue searching n recce trips me n dennis made almost every weekend. The nite spends not slping ammending the proposal, rejected again n again. Till tis yr in jan pple askin me is it gonna happen.. Yupz finally it happens..
DE was a tough ride for me dude.. Working relations are put to test.. Demanding for myself having said so its not tat work is not distrubuted but at times pple can accomodate to datelines n job scope. Well yupz we hv to gif n take wen comes to it. Everyone did lay a finger to make the event goin.. Tats impt.. But how much its up to individual to judge they noe it themselves. Im not here to measure it.. All i can say abt the working relations tat we had was a great memories for me to keep n reflect for my own gd. Its an experience which help me relate better wif others in future. To all those i've been workin wif thx for the great oppurtunity working together. Forgive me if i ever offend u in anyway.

Camy.. thx lady cant ask for more frm u. Aint gonna hv a second person to go thru the event wif. Had some hicups here n there but stil i cant do it without u lady.. Dennis.. U noe wat we hv gone thru.. Poor chap even hv slp talking abt the event.. Brudder brudder.. "Wheres the clue, if they cannot find how? How? CAmy!!!" Hahaha.. Dewi.. Frm camp focus till now she has been like the event secertary cum treasurer.. Sorry if im pushing u ard most of the time. SK.. Roller coaster ride for u huh.. managing time.. relationships.. ur personal standards.. ah hope u had learn something frm the events. Take it as a personal experience which cld be great use. Ah Jiao.. Mm.. my SIT peep yea sista.. thx for rendering ur service, my trustworthy SIT peeps which always help me check on wats left to do n oso criticise me. Keep me on the ball all the time. Melvin.. Thx for ur contribution be it small or being there to assist me. All along its been a pleasure working wif u. Amin.. always kena log but bro not having u to help me look at the logistic list we need to clear is tough. U r made n set to do LOG. Hahaha.. Ur the man bro.. its fun isnt it.. JAryl.. Designer. Ur work on the event maybe little but tell u wat u pple make a lasting impression coz look pple the t-shirt ur wearing where does it come frm.. Clem.. u too dude thx for helping out in the game sheets... Tats it for my SIT peeps. Zek, Ben & Rid.. They are the one who do the finishing touches to all the incomplete clue cards or game sheets. All errors correction they hv a finger to it. Thx dude... Damn u Zek for leaving us... So much for the committee members huh..
Last but not least to all the officials thx for making the event possible. Even though theres lot to improve on in my point of view. I guess given more time for preparation things will be well managed.
On my part.. Hairul u done ur all to it. I noe its not gd enuf for my standard. Disappointment stil lies in me for not pullin it thru. Maybe i hv to work on my weakness or in fact being too ambitious man. Chee.. aint wrong to be ambitious i noe tat.. Having said so.. wld there be a second DE? Mmm.. hell yea i say im up to it. I hv my own objectives of creating tis event. Its the first not the last. So if the sch gif me the trust to do it.. if pple ard me are willing to make things happen.. There will be a DOWNTOWN ESCAPADE 06. Speaking to soon maybe but its possible.. Pat on my shoulder.. i've gif my all to it. Disappointed in myself duh.. didnt had a chance to end it on high node, I wasnt even there to see it ends. Aiya.. Got myself injured.. Scar on my hands.. it remind me of the event for sure. But my wrist hurts even till now tats bad real bad.. Damn..
Rewards, recognitions, fame.. Neh tats not wat i wan.. All tat i wan is to make sumthing out of NYP. Its for all to c wat NYP students is made off. Hope tis wld be an eye opener for the sch to sparks up sumthing new.
